Simple Seal - Thermal Plate Sealer

The Simple Seal is a quick, versatile, semi automated thermal plate sealer. It is an ideal partner for labs running up to 50 plates a day.
The Simple Seal comes with a standard plate holder. There a number of options for other plates too (see details on the flyer that can be downloaded from this page). To operate the Simple Seal Plate Sealer place you plate on to the holder & push it in to the draw. The instrument then automatically seals the plate with your chosen seal. All done in a matter of seconds.
When not in use the Simple Seal can be set to cool to a holding temperature. This saves energy and money. Once reactivated the Simple Seal takes just a few moments to heat back to working temperature.
Benefits of the Simple Seal:
1) Consistent sealing - each plate is sealed exactly as the one before. This removes plate to plate sealing variations.
2)Semi automated procedure. Variation in user pressure is removed and consistency in sealing is greatly enhanced.
3)Ability to quickly change the protocol. Thus ensuring that every plate / seal combination gets optimal sealing.
4)Saving Money: Thermal Seals are considerably cheaper than adhesive seals and give better sealing. Thus the user saves money in the long run by using cheaper seals but also by providing a better seal the user can generally reduce reagent volume and this reduces the overall reagent costs.
